Tracy is the main volunteer and Executive Director of Community Cats. She works tirelessly doing the exhausting work of TNR-M (Trap, Neuter, Return and maintain) feral cat colonies. I am always so in awe at her tenacity and dedication over the many years that she has volunteered to save/foster/home feral cats and kittens. I have worked directly with her several times and she never ceases to amaze me. She definitely has a natural ability with and love for these abandoned felines that our community seems to have forgotten.

Please send any donations that you can afford to: Community Cats, c/o 224 Thoma St Reno, NV, 89502.
Thanks,

For many years I’ve worked with the TNR program,  and the humane society in Reno.  I’ve had some wonderful advocates over those years to help me care for the feral colony I feed.  The program is vital to these cats.  It prevents disease, allows spay and neutering to avoid over population.  I can’t imagine not having this program available.  There are so many cats living feral,  this program gives them a bit of humanity.  When deciding where funds should be allocated,  the TNR program should be considered a “must have” for this community.

When I moved here almost 6 years ago, I inherited a very large feral cat colony in our back property that I had to do something about. The TNR clinic has been a terrific resource to get this feral cat population under control in our neighborhood. I have family friends and neighbors that are all grateful they had some place to help them with their feral cat problem.

Hello‼️

I am very grateful for all the work you and the organization does for the community....I have had dozens of cats that have gone through the TNR program over the years and I have always had great experiences with the complete process.  I totally believe if there was no program like Community cats for our area and all areas there would be a lot of diseases and needless suffering for the cats.

Thank you again for all of your assistance and hard work‼️‼️😊

These programs are of the utmost need. Without them, the cat population would increase to a level that would be unmanageable. Neighborhoods would be overrun with them, and, as it is now, there are so many cats that are in desperate need of food & shelter. They suffer through the summer & they suffer through the winter. Mommas trying to keep themselves & their  babies alive. It's a dire situation for cats no matter how you look at but at least if a TNR program is in place, & being utilized as it should be, the number of cats in each community will start to dwindle down & become a much more manageable situation for the people who live there & for the cats.

I wanted to thank you and support the TNR policy. As a lover of cat's, I know how important it is to keep the feral cat population managed. Recently we trapped a small female cat, that had a litter of 2 baby girls and having her neutered was quite a relief. You also helped me trap and neuter her female babies and 3 additional male cats so now I don't need to worry about them either.

This program is desperately needed in our area as I and others love animals, want them to stay safe and just enjoy their company. I enjoy feeding them and watch them play in the back yard. Please continue with the program and I will support their cause.

Thank You Again

Foster People

Foster People play a very important role in the TNR program. Adopting a cat to a forever home helps the cat and the owner. Cat's make a great addition to a household. They are fun and make great companions. Here are some photos of Foster People and their cats.
